The Angler 2017

The Angler is the voice of Ray Aitchison, age 76, a fisherman of the Derwent River. He recounts early memories of the anglers who used to dot the banks of the Derwent to their gradual decline and disappearance as industry, the city and culture moved on. This is a testimony to their lives and memory.
This project was a collaboration between Prof. Peter Davies and Tess Campbell (as video artist).
This is the continuation in a series of video works entitled The Wise Heads Project - recalling the tales and living memories from around the Derwent River.
